Penkhull Barmy Army by BORNY

Im back in Penkhull after 15 years and boy is it good to be back. Back in the day when I was a teenager some 20+ years ago, the Penkhull Barmy Army was the name of our gang. As with many other teenage gangs, we hung around Penkhull as mischief-makers, waiting for rival gangs from Trent Vale or - "Trent Vegas" as we know it, Then there was the West End crew and there was also the Hartshill puffs. Between the year 1983 and 1991 Penkhull was my stomping ground, and STILL is. :-)
Let me see, In our Penkhull Barmy Army the main heads where - "Neal Adge", "Freako - Simon = "RIP Simon"", "kev Punchard", "Eddy", "Dave Chell", "Dave Heapher = "RIP Reffer" Miss u loads m8", "Justin Deakin", "Justin Bates", "Sean Sullivan" and of course me, "Borny" and my so called big bro "Shaun Hughes Aka Ginger". Those were the days with not a care in the world, when the script for the day was a bit of school at Thistly Hough High School, then home for a quick snack and straight out to go dossing up at the Penkhull Village for the evening. The Margis Of Granby was my first local pub at the age of 15, I did look 18+ to be honest 15 being 6Ft 1Inch helped. I see now that there is a CCTV cam pointing straight cross the village, Thank fcuk it wasn't there when we were kids, lol. Or we would have been in trouble even more than we where. I don't know why but Penkhull just seems to be better than EVERY WHERE else i've lived in this shit city. Its not changed much, same pubs, same CO-OP was SPAR, same church where I was christened at the age of 6 months old, Ahh, Nice, lol.
Same everything really, just myself and the others are now older with kids of our own that now attend Thistly Hough High School - Jaye my daughter :-) The apple of my eye. She now hangs around the Penkhull village just as her dad did 25+ years ago. Makes me feel old just thinking about it. If any one mentioned above reads this and wants to get in touch then plz leave a note and I will get bak to you.
Any way thats enuff reminising for now so I will say good bye and if you carnet be good, DON'T GET CAUGHT.
One Life - Live IT B4 its 2 late.
